Eyes on the Horizon

This is a rewrite/republish of something I did as an experiment on Tumblr. Short drabbles and scenes about the adventures of my Dovahkiin somehow turned into a story with a life of its own, sometimes barely resembling the original events from the game any more. It was long before, and after some fleshing out, filling gaps and polishing it’s become even longer.

Will contain the main quest, lots of Companions (though not many Companion quests), some daedra, many sidequests, fluff, angst, politics and humour.

Part 1: Eyes on the Prey
Part 2: Eyes on the Enemy
Part 3: Eyes on the Future

  1. I just read part of chapter 12. Nice adaptation from the original story. Sadly, I rarely have the time for a long in depth read, but I will be back to read more. You’ve been a reliable friend and fan, the least I can do is return the favor. ๐Ÿ™‚

    • It’s not a favour when I read your stuff. I wouldn’t do it if I didn’t like it, and I don’t expect others to spend time with my stuff if they don’t gain *something* out of it. Even if it’s just the warm fuzzy feeling of “woah, I could have done that so much better” ๐Ÿ˜€

Thanks for reading, liking and commenting!

      • I didn’t mean that last line of my comment to sound so cold. Remove the word ‘Favor” and replace it with “Genuine Appreciation.” You’ve made my story better, and I hope to offer the same. That is a bit closer to my intended meaning. I llok forward to reading more.

        • Yeah, the troubles with written communication ๐Ÿ™‚

I didn’t read it “cold”, quite the contrary. Just wanted to clarify. Sometimes it’s a bit like “you like mine and I like yours”, which is neither constructive nor honest. Any advice that helps me to become a better writer is greatly appreciated!
